FaceNiff 2.0 beta unlocked. Session hijacking for Android
If you haven’t heard the buzz About the Facebook session hijack tool FireSheep, (available as a Firefox extension), then you may well not be aware that the same tool is now available as an android app.
FaceNiff has been available for Android for some time with 1.9.4 being the latest stable release. Recently a newer beta version has become available.
Download the official version 2.0 beta release from HERE.
By default the trial is limited to 3 profiles. Follow these sneaky instructions to find out how to easily unlock the app.
Install the apk you just downloaded, open it, allow SU permissions and make sure you run the service by clicking start button.
Press menu and select unlock app,
Stop the service and close the app. Now open your file manager and go to the root of your SD card. You should see
A file named facenif.debug
Open this with your chosen text editor, (screen shot shows text file using Root Explorer).
Once open edit it with your text editor.
Within this file you will see the key for your app displayed.
Simply copy and paste it in the app after clicking unlock.

Its a bit cheeky but to be honest I’m sure the dev is aware of how easy this is and I wouldn’t be supprised if we were supposedd to find this.
